a senior session with jack. . . and a mini-session with younger brother dean. . .

Senior sessions are always fun and a tad bit sentimental as I reflect on my own senior portraits at Morgan's studio and the days leading up to my senior year - such a time of excitement and nerves all mixed together.  Well this senior session was no different except that I coached him when he was in 5th grade and now he is entering his senior year! Wow, where does time go?  Thanks for letting me take your senior pics Jack and thanks for making me feel a tad bit older.  :)  Best of luck this year at North!  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

The sweetest blessings in my life right now call me Nana. I have nine nephews and nieces and I love every second of being an aunt.  I especially love the sweet moments I get to share with my nephew - Henry and my niece - Hallie like when I walk into their house and they come running to hug me while cheering "Nana!"  My heart is full of so much joy as I look through the snapshots from this sweet photo session and I see my brother making that face he makes when he is teasing his daughter and when I see Henry look into my sister-in-laws eyes grinning from ear to ear with his newly acquired toothless grin.  I love my family. And I love these moments.  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

I love that I have begun this photography journey for many reasons but one very special reason is that I get to hang out with my friends and their little ones. I love seeing their sweet little families interact and play and  I love being a part of these moments that my friends will get to cherish forever.

I was so excited to shoot for my friend Blair's precious family to commemorate her son Eli's 2nd birthday!  He is just too cute for words!  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

Oh this post brings a tear to my eye!  I taught Olivia when she was in the 4th grade and now she is getting ready to start her senior year in high school!  I adored her sweet little personality when she was a friendly, loving little ten year old and I still absolutely adore her 7 years later!  She is beautiful inside and out and I am so proud of the little lady she has turned into.  We had a blast driving around Oldham County in search of the picture perfect spots!  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

Ginnie and I have known each other since we were six years old!  Those of you wanting to do some math… that's over 25 years!  I am so thankful for our sweet friendship that literally has journeyed through decades!  She is now loving life with her three handsome boys (in which I have been at the hospital for every delivery!) and I am so thankful for my sweet little photo session with her newest addition, Dean.
