I am so thankful that I got to be a part of this session. My friend and co-worker, Beth, once admitted to me that she was one that if she could ruin a surprise, she would.  She would open gifts to see what they were and then rewrap them.  So when she asked me to take pictures for the gender reveal of her third baby-to-be, I was ecstatic.  I hope these photographs portray how this family is as beautiful as they are sweet.  Here are a few of my favorites . . .

a senior session with jack. . . and a mini-session with younger brother dean. . .

Senior sessions are always fun and a tad bit sentimental as I reflect on my own senior portraits at Morgan's studio and the days leading up to my senior year - such a time of excitement and nerves all mixed together.  Well this senior session was no different except that I coached him when he was in 5th grade and now he is entering his senior year! Wow, where does time go?  Thanks for letting me take your senior pics Jack and thanks for making me feel a tad bit older.  :)  Best of luck this year at North!  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

The sweetest blessings in my life right now call me Nana. I have nine nephews and nieces and I love every second of being an aunt.  I especially love the sweet moments I get to share with my nephew - Henry and my niece - Hallie like when I walk into their house and they come running to hug me while cheering "Nana!"  My heart is full of so much joy as I look through the snapshots from this sweet photo session and I see my brother making that face he makes when he is teasing his daughter and when I see Henry look into my sister-in-laws eyes grinning from ear to ear with his newly acquired toothless grin.  I love my family. And I love these moments.  Here are a few of my favorites. . .

I love that I have begun this photography journey for many reasons but one very special reason is that I get to hang out with my friends and their little ones. I love seeing their sweet little families interact and play and  I love being a part of these moments that my friends will get to cherish forever.
